Biography

I am a musician and composer, and the primary goal of my music is to spread Love. If it also entertains, then that is fantastic! But I am aiming my arrow at the highest frequency of Love, the clearest and purest frequency there is. So the question for me is how to achieve this. The words “pure,” “healing,” and ”authentic” have been used to describe my music, and this pays testament to the process I go through to create it. I never fix myself on the end result. My journey is always about allowing a space to open up; it happens very organically. The music usually develops gradually, but with sudden leaps of creativity. It has such a mysterious quality to it, and I have to trust that what is happening is the right thing. The way a piece feels matters more to me than how it sounds. I also try to express something beautiful through my music. I feel that a thing of beauty reveals our essence, our divine and our human side. This is a great source of inspiration for me, to create something beautiful in the world. The kind of beauty I am talking about comes from the deepest level and emanates outward; it is a vibration, not a veneer. If a composer can touch the inner core of the listener, the listener feels it. I create my music to be joyful and peaceful, not forcing itself on the listener. And music is a two-way process in which the composer/musician and the listener meet. I would like the listeners of my music to be willing to hear it a different way – with the heart, with acceptance. . Kavi’s new album “Unconditional Love” was released on New Earth Records this spring.
